Q. Is it necessary to register?
A. No. You do not have to register to look around gobidit.com. However, if you wish to buy or sell an item ongobidit.com you will have to register first. You will get a confirmation email once you register. If you are ready to register click here.
Q. How do I register?
A. Once you are ready to buy or sell an item, registering with gobidit.com is easy. To register just click here.
Q. Once I register, do I HAVE to buy or sell anything?
A. No. You are under no obligation to buy or sell anything on gobidit.com once you register.
Q. Is my information kept confidential?
A. Yes. Your information is kept on file with gobidit.com.
Q. I’m having trouble registering.
A. You should receive an email confirming your registration. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, please try to register again. Make sure you fill out all the required information. If you still have troubles, please contact us so that we can fix the problem promptly. Please click here, if you continue to have problems.
Q. I forgot my password.
A. Should you forget your password, when you go to sign in, click the “Forgot my Password”. Follow the steps and your password will be sent to you via email.
Q. Can I change my information if needed? (email address, password, mailing address)
A. Yes. You may edit your personal information anytime after you register. To change any information. Sign in. Click on the tab “My Account”. On the left side of the page, click on “Personal Information”. Scroll down and click “edit”. From there you can change any information you like.

A. There are no fees to list an item, however, there is a monthly membership fee that does apply...
Q. What is a co-op? Top
A. At gobidit.com, Is an online venue to assist sellers with keeping their profits so that they can offer the best hard to find deals on the web... In order for us to offer this, we must charge a very low monthly membership fee... Keep in mind, that you the seller are a part of the co-op & get a kick back of your fees at the end of the year... Also, as a co-op member you get all the great tools that we have to offer for you to use and be your own boss... Tools such as the Widget and video uploading... Best of all, you are a part of the one First of it's kind, online auction site
Q. What is a Widget? Top
A. A widget is a tool for our sellers to use for ‘Social Network Marketing’. These widgets can be placed on your; MySpace page, Face Book, or any other site you use for social networking. This will show your item for sale, the price or current bid, shipping cost, and a ticker showing the time remaining on the auction. This allows your item to be seen by more than just gobidit.com customers.
Q. How do I use my Widget? Top
A. Using your widget is easy and most of all FREE!! Just click the “My Auction” Tab. Click on the item you would like to post on your widget. Scroll down on the left hand column you click on “Widgets”. It will show you what your widget looks like, below that is the HTML script for that widget. Copy and past that HTML script in the area of your social networking page that allows you to post a widget. It’s just that simple….and best of all, it’s FREE!
Q. How do I sell an Item on gobidit.com Top
A. Selling items on gobidit.com is designed to be easy to navigate through. You have to be registered to sell on gobidit.com. If you haven’t already registered, click here. Once you have registered, click the “Sell” tab and sign in. Then choose your auction type. Then choose the category of your item, and then the sub-category then click continue. This is your item description page. Create a title of your item, and if you like you can choose a subtitle FREE. Now upload up to 4 photo’s of the item you are selling. Keep in mind that the first photo you upload will be the thumb nail photo and the photo that is used in your widget. You can also upload a video of the item if you like FREE! Now, choose your payment options, and then shipping options and press continue. If you chose a payment option like PayPal and Google check out you will need to enter your account information. Then look at the preview page. If everything looks ok, just click “Submit”. Your item is now posted! You will receive a confirmation email stating your item has been successfully posted on gobidit.com
Q. Which auction type should I choose? Top
A. There are 5 types of auctions to choose from.
1) Simple Auction – This is a common auction used. This will allow you to set a starting price, a reserved price, and a Buy it Now price. Fixed Auction – This auction is for those that want to sell an item for a fixed price. It’s not really an “auction” but rather a set price for the item.
2) Dutch Simple Auction - This auction is for if you have a few or several of the same items. This is like the Simple Auction, but allows you to enter the quantity of the item you have in stock.
3) Dutch Fixed Auction – Again, this is like the fixed auction allowing you to set a fixed price for the item, but have several of the same items in stock.
4) Dutch Lots Auction – This auction is for if you have items you are selling as a “Lot” or all together. You can list up to 5 lots of items at a set price. You can list a different price for each “lot”.
Q. How many pictures can I use of the item I’m selling? Top
A. You may load up to 4 pictures of the item for FREE. Unlike other auction sites that limit you to 1 or 2 pictures and then charge you for any additional pictures. At gobidit.com, we know the more pictures you have; the better chance of selling your item. You may also upload a video of the item if you like for FREE!!
Q. Can I cancel my auction if I sell my item elsewhere? Top
A. Yes. You can cancel your auction at anytime with no penalty fees. At gobidit.com we feel that the more avenues you have to sell your product the better chances you have of getting the most for that item. We will not penalize you if you sell your item elsewhere. You may have to check with other online auction sites to see if they charge you to cancel your auction should you sell the item on gobidit.com.
Q. If my item doesn’t sell, can I relist? Top
A. Yes you may relist your item for FREE! Just click the tab “My Account”. Click “My unsold Items” on the left. Under Action tab down and click relist. This will repost your item.
Q. What Payment terms can I use for my auction? Top
A. At gobidit.com we do not limit you to one specific payment option. You can use any payment option you like. If you are set up with more than one, you can list both of them. For example; if you have an account with Google Check out and PayPal, you can click both of them in the Payment option section. This will give your customers an option, and provide you with more sales.
Q. May I leave feedback on a buyer? Top
A. Yes. You may leave feedback on buyers. We encourage our sellers to let others know if a buyer is a quality buyer or not.
